You may have heard the term "convertible crib" but weren't quite sure what that meant. It's a term used to describe baby cribs that can convert to bigger beds. Through toddler years you can convert the crib to a toddler bed or day bed. Through teen years you can convert the crib to a twin or full size bed. This is a beautiful and well-built crib that converts to a toddler bed and a full size bed. To convert to a toddler bed you simply get rid of the front rail and replace it with the toddler rail. (toddler rail is usually included) For the full size conversion you'll use the crib's head/footboard, plus full size conversion rails and full size mattress. (mattress and rail are usually sold separately)
